Camera Types

Various types of cameras are available. Cameras intended to be used with computers will use USB, wi-fi, or LAN to connect to the computer, and typically include specialized software. Cameras with HDMI, VGA, or analog video interfaces can be attached directly to a compatible display device such as a monitor or television, and do not require a computer to operate.

Camera Pixels

Also referred to as camera resolution, the number of pixels represents the maximum size of images which can be displayed or recorded by a camera. The value is displayed using MP (megapixels).

This digital phase contrast binocular compound microscope system includes a super speed 10MP USB 3.0 microscope camera. It comes with LED illumination with variable intensity, Abbe NA1.25 condenser with iris diaphragmn, and a complete phase contrast kit. It offers eight levels of brightfield magnification from 40X to 2000X. The phase contrast kit includes a phase contrast condenser, a centering telescopic eyepiece, and four achromatic phase contrast objectives which offers the total magnification powers 100X, 200X, 400X, 800X, 1000X and 2000X. The 3584x2748 pixels USB 3.0 digital imaging system that captures still microscope images and live video on computer. The included software is compatible with windows, Mac OS and Linux operating systems (see version information below). This phase contrast compound microscope is widely used clinical, biological research and schools, specially for observing live cells.

Warranty does not apply for
consumable accessories and parts such as bulbs, batteries, fuses, cords,
optical components or any add-on accessories such as mechanical specimen
holders that are not built into the microscope stage as an integral part of the
original manufacture, etc. Warranty does not cover microscopes, lenses cameras
or other accessories that have become inoperable due to dirt or damage due to
misuse or lack of maintenance.
