The Higher the Magnification - The More Detail You'll See

Magnification can represent combinations of lenses including objective, ocular, and auxiliary lenses. The magnification ranges described here may include these combinations.

Compound Microscopes may include additional eyepieces (ocular lenses) to expand the total magnification range.

Stereo and other Inspection Microscopes may include additional eyepieces and auxiliary lenses including Barlow lenses to expand the total magnification range.

Camera Types

Various types of cameras are available. Cameras intended to be used with computers will use USB, wi-fi, or LAN to connect to the computer, and typically include specialized software. Cameras with HDMI, VGA, or analog video interfaces can be attached directly to a compatible display device such as a monitor or television, and do not require a computer to operate.

Camera Pixels

Also referred to as camera resolution, the number of pixels represents the maximum size of images which can be displayed or recorded by a camera. The value is displayed using MP (megapixels).

Key Features

  • An ultra-compact camera ideal for video inspection
  • 2MP / 1080p 60fps HDMI digital microscope camera with C-mount
  • Standalone operation with built-in recording using SD card
  • Excellent low-light performance using back-illuminated CMOS technology.
OMAX HDLT Series

OMAX HDLT cameras offer an ultra-compact and simplified solution for integrating live video into your microscopy system. Using a standard C-Mount lens interface, these cameras will work with a wide range of microscopes allowing you to watch high definition video on your HDMI-equipped monitor or television.

A3520HDLT

The A3520HDLT is an ultra-compact camera for microscopes, with real-time HDMI output for watching and recording live video. Pair the camera with one of our M5 series inspection microscopes to create a versatile video inspection system, or mount it on virtually any compound or stereo microscope to enjoy the convenience of video monitoring.

C-Mount

The camera uses a standard C-mount lens interface which works with a wide range of microscopes and lenses. It can be mounted directly to C-mount photo ports, or coupled with a C-mount reduction lens for use with 23mm or larger ocular tubes. Because of its compact design, the A3520HDLT can be mounted to compound and stereo microscopes without adding a lot of weight.

Real-Time Video

Connect the camera to any HDMI-equipped monitor or television to view live video in 1080p resolution at a smooth 60fps. The camera’s integrated software allows you to fine-tune exposure, color, and other settings, capture videos and still images, and perform measurement functions. A USB mouse is included to navigate the on-screen controls.

Low-Light Performance

Using Sony’s STARVIS technology, the camera’s back-illuminated CMOS sensor is capable of capturing detail with limited illumination, making it an excellent option for use with inconsistent lighting or low-emission applications such as fluorescence and darkfield. These back-illuminated sensors have shown remarkable flexibility and a superior ability to boost the signal with limited noise.

Secure Digital

There’s no need for a computer. This HDLT series camera records directly to Secure Digital media. These universal, high performance cards make it easier than ever to record and share.
