Camera Types

Various types of cameras are available. Cameras intended to be used with computers will use USB, wi-fi, or LAN to connect to the computer, and typically include specialized software. Cameras with HDMI, VGA, or analog video interfaces can be attached directly to a compatible display device such as a monitor or television, and do not require a computer to operate.

Camera Pixels

Also referred to as camera resolution, the number of pixels represents the maximum size of images which can be displayed or recorded by a camera. The value is displayed using MP (megapixels).

The NVM4IR is a go-anywhere night vision scope with a sleek, compact design. Using a hyper-sensitive digital sensor, the built-in camera can bring out details in near darkness. Then take it one step further by switching to infrared mode, and you’ll see your surroundings even in pitch black.

As a digital scope, the NVM4IR uses a 4X optical lens and a built-in camera to produce live video which is displayed on a 1.54” LCD screen inside the eyepiece. You can capture photos and record videos using a MicroSD card to save the files. Use the standard camera mode during the day, then switch to night vision mode after the sun goes down. Switch to the infrared mode to activate the built-in infrared lamp, and you’ll be able to see objects even in complete darkness.
