Camera Types

Various types of cameras are available. Cameras intended to be used with computers will use USB, wi-fi, or LAN to connect to the computer, and typically include specialized software. Cameras with HDMI, VGA, or analog video interfaces can be attached directly to a compatible display device such as a monitor or television, and do not require a computer to operate.

Camera Pixels

Also referred to as camera resolution, the number of pixels represents the maximum size of images which can be displayed or recorded by a camera. The value is displayed using MP (megapixels).

It comes with 0.67X-4.5X (continuous zoom) objectives and a pair of 10X high eye point extreme wide field eyepieces. This microscope has a standard mount size of 76mm and is compatible with many microscope stands with 76mm O-ring holder, like single bar or dual bar boom stand, articulating arm boom stand. The microscope objectives also have the standard 48mm female thread for mounting auxiliary lens and ring lights. The vertical photo tube gives you the option to use this microscope body with a digital camera (sold separately). It is an ideal instrument for anyone in the semiconductor and electronic industries, research and development labs, gemology, engraving, and serious collecting.
