Camera Types

Various types of cameras are available. Cameras intended to be used with computers will use USB, wi-fi, or LAN to connect to the computer, and typically include specialized software. Cameras with HDMI, VGA, or analog video interfaces can be attached directly to a compatible display device such as a monitor or television, and do not require a computer to operate.

Camera Pixels

Also referred to as camera resolution, the number of pixels represents the maximum size of images which can be displayed or recorded by a camera. The value is displayed using MP (megapixels).

This OMAX G24TB trinocular stereo microscope package is outfitted with a 144-LED ring light to provide crucial illumination, and the A3520HDLT camera which can be used with a monitor or television for live video, and can record directly to SecureDigital media.

This microscope uses two sets of objective lenses (2X and 4X) which can be rotated into place as needed. The oculars can be easily adjusted to suit any user using compensation-free, rotating adjustment.

The included camera delivers real-time 1080p video at 60fps, and can capture videos and still images thanks to its built-in Secure Digital recorder. The 12.5” monitor attaches to the table stand using an arm mount which can swivel and allows the screen to tilt. A USB mouse is included to navigate the on-screen controls which eliminates handling vibration.

An LED ring light is included to provide cool, even illumination. With the illuminator attached to the lens, the light will always be where you need it. 144 individual LEDs blanket the subject with light which is controlled using a simple knob.

This package includes a table stand to provide fundamental support and focusing ability. The lens mounts to a basic focusing block designed specifically for the lens’ smaller diameter. An extra-tall pillar provides ample latitude and rotation while the focusing block offers symmetrical, tension-adjustable coarse focus knobs with 43mm travel. A large base provides plenty of stability along with a sturdy, metal working surface.

Warranty does not apply for
consumable accessories and parts such as bulbs, batteries, fuses, cords,
optical components or any add-on accessories such as mechanical specimen
holders that are not built into the microscope stage as an integral part of the
original manufacture, etc. Warranty does not cover microscopes, lenses cameras
or other accessories that have become inoperable due to dirt or damage due to
misuse or lack of maintenance.
